About Us
Don and Rhonda Sober are a husband and wife team serving in full time ministry…….proclaiming Jesus!
Don Sober
Don was born and raised in Hopewell, VA. He was saved at the age of eighteen at an old fashioned camp meeting. Don began his career playing trumpet in the United States Army Band. Over the years, he has managed and sang in several Southern Gospel groups, been on radio and television, made several recordings and has traveled up and down the East Coast. He enjoys sharing Christ through music, testimonies and humor.
Don’s down-home ability to communicate with people, yet at the same time share Christ in song, is foreshadowed only by his sensitivity to the movement of The Holy Spirit.
Rhonda Sober
Rhonda grew up in Chesterfield County, VA., attending church and camp meetings. She began her musical career playing the accordion as a child. By the time she was fourteen years old, she became the church organist. Rhonda is now an award winning accomplished musician playing a variety of instruments.
She is a graduate of the Blackwood Brothers School of Music in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas, the world renowned Stamps-Baxter School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee and The Christian Music Conference at Murray State University under the leadership of Dr. Charles Novell. Her southern styles of playing and smooth alto voice compliment their unique style.
Rhonda considers it an honor to use her talents for The Lord!
